Description
Working on this character. She's a little different in facial type to what I normally do (apart from Becky). Still working on her.
These are all all rendered in the native embedded render engine. I shall be doing iray next if I can get the lights to look decent!

Good looking character here. I like the lighting on the 2nd image personally.
Maybe a bit of fill light on the 1st as you have some light from the back on her shoulder but not getting to the face the same like in the 2nd image.

Yeah, I'm not keen on the first image. Shadows seem to be too soft for such a wide-brimmed hat, plus the direction is off. The second one is ok. I think the shadow is more in-line to the hat. Thanks for your comment :)
I prefer the second image also, but both are fine portraits
