Description
Guinevere Series 1
I read several books on King Arthur when I was a kid, and was always attracted stories. Guinevere's story was one of betrayal to her beloved King Arthur.

This is very classical image in the tradition of the great masters renewed. Congrats and great respect. If we had more of this, the public would be waned of cheap bombast ...
LOL... The world has forgot what beauty is. Just go to Walmart to find out. ;)
Excellent work. Really beautiful 👍🙋♂️
Thank you.
So many tales told of this intriguing character, portraying her as everything from an ingenue to a vicious and conniving adultress. One of the more "out there " versions is from the 14th century Ly Myreur des Histors: After she and Mordred usurp Arthur, and rule cruelly, she's finally slain by Lancelot. Her corpse is entombed with the captured Mordred who eats it before eventually starving to death!
That aside, this is a remarkable portrait, beguiling in its simplicity.
I'll have to read about that one. Thanks for that tidbit, and thank you for the complement. :)
