Description
She stood defiant as he walked from the shadows towards her. Others remained further back as though awaiting orders.
She stared sternly into his eyes, something that a slave was not permitted to do, but this one coming towards her was one of the dishonor, she recognized him as the one whom had been struck.
She figured she was about to die here, and so for the first time in her life, she was going to stand.
He glared at her angrily, seeing the defiance within her manners and eyes.
"Lower your gaze." He growled in a lowered voice. "I am a warrior."
"In name only." She shot back. "You are without honor."
"Not your place to speak of."
