in the Philippines many people take food and drink to visit their departed family/friends. this year there was a huge police presence to prevent the bad people from robbing people and getting drunk
there are robberies in Mexico also

I remember a grweat comment you left when I posted a few cavaleras (from mexico)...i love the faces here, and the decorations...It looks like these two are infront of a modern festival even though they look like the rose out of a nameless past. And the lighting is perfect, doused in reds, along with the blurred art along the walls. Love it. I have my skulls by my computer, and they give me inspiration every day...maybe if we did more of that here, there'd be more respect for the living...
