Description
Stella was taking time out of her walk to remember her friends at Halloween.
Jasmine & Truly were with her last Halloween, sadly we lost Mr. Buck a couple of months before, She remembers having to drive somewhere so they didn't hear the fireworks & get frightened.
We have already had fireworks since the others passed & neither Stella or the puss cats were bothered so our Halloween/Bonfire night travels most probably won't be happening this year.
Just another milestone to get over, guess the next is Christmas.

This is a lovely remembrance of your dear fur babies lost to you last year. I know how difficult this past year has been for you, and, as I have said before, I so hope 2023 will bring you some well-deserved joy...
I know it's so hard losing our much loved pets. A lot of people say to think of the wonderful lives we gave them and how we loved them and they loved us. All true. But the pain of losing them never goes away. It fades slightly in time though. I almost slipped up today thinking it'd soon be time for the annual visit to the vet for boosters and MOT, then remembered that November was Maya's date for that, not Breeze and Bella. Small steps though......and give Stella an extra hug to pass on to her lost family xx

I miss them too...I was gone for so long that I missed their passings but I remember them very well...Big hug for Stella and for you too:-)
made me remember an old dog I use to have for many years. she was a good dog, but if she was able to sneak out of the yard, it was a hard time to catch her. she wanted me to run after her. the more I ran the more she ran. I would give food to the malamute, and she was jealous and would return. no matter how hard I went to hide her medicine, she would spit it out. I have several medicines to give my Bodie twice daily.the first 2 days were okay, but he decided that he did not want some and spit them out. I picked them up and stuck in his mouth. he swallowed before he knew what he was swallowing. I still recall dogs that my family had when I was young and I miss them.

Happy memories, fun times too. They get wise to hiding medication. :o)))
