Description

Well- they were the southlands apparently before Sauron installed that fancy volcano, green house gas emissions through the roof. Nice if you're allergic to sunlight though.

Cool. Great scenes. The hazy one is very fitting.

BTW, don't believe much on the Rings of Power, they are making up a lot for the show and have already changed a lot that was canon to the books. There were no Hobbits in the second age and the Istari did not show up until the early third age after Sauron lost the one ring. Galadriel never lost her husband, the Mithril is not tied to the elves nor does it have magical properties imbued by a tree or fight with a Balrog and hero. They're reaching and they really did not have to.

Love your interpretation of Mordor and the Fell Beasts.

Thank you, yes I know there is a lot of debate online about ROP's canonicity (or lack of), one You-tuber holds the theory that The Stranger is a Blue Wizard- who apparently were around in the 2nd Age (but definitely not delivered by meteorite!) As is becoming a trend with my renders the one on the right is the first attempt at the render and the one on the left is the one I was better pleased with. The one on the right has a 2d volcanic explosion whereas the one on the let has a volumetric fire. Plus a fog effect, which makes it jjust more Mordorish. Herschel Hoffmeyer's fantastic wyvern model stands in for the fell beasts

Both are stand out, but I agree with your choice as well. Herschell's wyvern is quite the beast.
