this is almost alabaster, with subtle peach-tinted beiges and pale oranges (and yellows, and so on). Beautiful hues. And hair. And her expression is very introspective and mournful. (I gotta say, from my personal feelings about organized religion, if she's a 'fallen' angel, I like her better than the ones "up there". A whole lot more.) Love the light between her and those wings. For a fallen image, it has a lot of poignance and beauty.
(you know the old hindu tale, about the man who goes to the gates of heaven? He's got his dog, and the gatekeeper says "you can't enter with that animal!" So the sojourner says "I'd rather go to hell and keep my dog than to come here without him." And the gatekeeper says "you've passed your test: you've shown love for all creatures..." I must say you have totally nailed this whole DDG thing. The light is lovely and the implied narrative decidedly intriguing (I guess everyone will make their own story) ...
