Description
Navarre sat silently; his eyes tracing every detail of the stations blueprints and construction. All the basic tech details for the Andorian company station of the Ra'al dynasty. A construction and salvage corporation that was making a vast profit, but for some odd reason was heavily in debt, and holding just one step beyond financial collapse.
He had spent the morning going over the ships current stores and making notes of needed supplies at their next birth.
The doors to the galley hissed open as Rashiya stepped close. His fingers moved in two key swipes, and the interface went black screen on the small computer.
"How are your patients?"
"Hungry." She smiled happily as she approached the serving counter.
"Always a good sign." He pulled the clipboard closer and studied the list of items.
"What you working on?" She asked curiously as she started selecting items for three meals.
"Restocking our supplies, and a few requirements for maintenance."
She hesitated for a moment, evident that she was formulating something within her mind.
"What will happen to them?" She turned and face him. "When they are able to be up again."
"I suppose that is up to them." Navarre replied casually as he typed another item into the clipboard.
"For those that may have no where to go?" Her voice lowered a bit.
Navarre paused. He had not considered this with all that had been going on.
"This is a growing crew; provided someone can contribute to the ship and crew and is able." He glanced over his shoulder and stared back at her. "But it's not a cruise ship for passengers."
"So a ships doctor would be a good addition?" She asked, leading him in the direction of her thinking.
"We have a medical section here; in which I have no intentions of keeping my engineer there." Navarre smiled. "I checked your mothers file. She was considered one of the finest and highly rated physician in many fields." He turned back to the clipboard. "If she is able and wants the position. She won't get rich or gain notoriety, but the Orpheus is better than being just no where."
"Thank you, Captain." She broke into a wide smile.

Great chapter - enjoying the story very much!
thank you. Just a few mundane bits of information, but all goes together.
Good - a new life and extended career - and he's planning revenge ..
revenge is a dish best served cold. it's very cold in space.
