It was (to the best of my recollection) a mid- to late 1940s Packard Clipper Deluxe. I remember it had a ship on the hood. My brothers and I used to play in it in the summertime. It eventually sank into the ground, and the side panels rusted out so bad that when you closed a car door, the whole side of the car would shake in-and-out (it moved at least 6 inches each way). It was still there after he divorced my mother, and eventually, the city was going to cite her for having a junk car on the property. I'm not sure how the heck they got that thing out of there, or whether or not it was in one piece (I wasn't there when it was removed).
Many thanks for the comment, 'cardo! I greatly appreciate you sharing your memories with me! It seems I am on the right wave length for your memories at times! I love being able to connect in this way! Hope you are having a great day. And again, I love your render of the old Cord 810SC. It really turned out fantastic!!!!!

Beasts! :) The handwork that went into these was impressive...
Thanks for the comment, jd! I greatly appreciate hearing from you! Those old Packard's sure were built with pride of workmanship and high quality standards! That is why there are still so many of them around, I guess.
