Description
In this little romantic scene a milkmaid and her man of action find a secluded spot on a cloudy day while her cat finds the milk. it all went together reasonably well, though the gent is rather clean in places on account of my lack of patience with my dirt shaders.
Any flaws in resolution might be my pulling the plug at 80% when the cat's fur ran past two hours of runtime.
The girl is my old character Mary with borrowed textures from Sangriart's Ekaterina (which completely change her as textures often do), and the gent is a WIP with borrowed textures from Tempesta3d.

Thanks Storm - that was just the cat hair. The rest of the scene went rather quickly though I set the max time rather long in case of 'fireflies'.

Hi, about fireflies, Render Settings --> Filtering --> Nominal Luminance (i take 100 test some values, but this also affects the whole scene, especially the skin of the characters). But I almost always got them away. I had to find out with iray that the right lighting is essential... Not only the quality, but also the render times...

Yup Storm it's all about time and light though it's interesting that I've had few fireflies until recently despite using minimal lights and tending toward darker scenes. Increasing samples and runtimes does the trick, though it sometimes backfires such as happened her with the cat. The 1 minute test render was grainy but looked pretty good otherwise :)

A really lovely scene, JD. I don't think it suffers much for lack of dirty shaders on your man of action or the shortened rendering time. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed viewing!
