Description
I was looking at some print ads from the late 1950's and tried to recreate the look and feel of some advertising in that era.

Yes! This car certainly had 'staying power', didn't it! LOL! A very cool ad though! Many fine compliments from me!
Glad to see the laughter. I’m wanting to distract from world events.
huge heavy metal back in those days. also very stylish cool cars. a great promo poster for the era.
I was one of the few who always liked the Edsel, but advertising in the late ‘50s was still a developing science. Thank you for the visit and comment.
Lol - Just love this scene, she looks like Doris Day Have a nice Sunday!
Sundays are Fun-days. I’m glad I helped you chuckle.
Awesome scene!
Thanks. It was typical of the era.
You pretty much nailed it, my friend! The clothing, the hairstyle, the atmosphere - and of course the Edsel all combine to give it that 50's feel. Well done!
Thank you. Film, TV and advertising of this era bombarded us with overt representations of fantasy life. It’s still done, but much more subtlety.
I recall Edsels with coral colors. superb scene
Thanks, Richard. You had a great capture of one in dark blue a while back.. Watch for it.
