An older Cowboy lady is not often seen in movies, what a pity. Perhaps in future we will see her.

I conceived her more as a scholarly explorer who would have survived full dangers. to underline this, the invisible man is a variation of Indiana Jones. :)

Exploratrice, aventurière? Il y en a eu quelques unes assez célèbres en leur temps : gertrude Bell, Isabelle Eberhardt, Ella Maillart, Alexandra David-Néel...Plus assez connues de nos jours, certes!

I was somewhat familiar with images of the old American West by N.C Wyeth and was surprised at how many other kinds of things he painted (although this one, of a prospector, was the kind of thing I was familiar with). I like our mature woman explorer who is more visible than male; all we see of him is his Indiana Jones hat, bullwhip and the glasses. XD
