The Doctor stood motionless. She had never imagined ever being in such a situation. "Centurions," The Romulan commander stated as she settled into her chair. "Dismissed." The Centurions turned in unison and departed from the office, leaving only the Doctor and the Commander, who currently opened a drawer and withdrew a long slender dagger. She leaned forward slightly at stared up with a smile at the now terrified Doctor. "So I am to die here?" Her voice quivered ever so slightly as she struggled against her panic. "Not today, Doctor." The Commander tilted her head ever so slightly to one side. "Maybe tomorrow." She paused for a moment and simply stared at the human; studying her reactions to the moment. "Maybe the day after tomorrow." She placed the dagger aside and reclined in her chair. "Please, be seated, Doctor." "I have no useful tactical information to officer, Commander." She stated as she slowly settled into the chair. "Oh, I am very aware of that." She rolled her eyes and gave a small laugh. "That is not why you are here, Doctor." "I don't understand." The Doctor looked up suddenly; confused. "What use could I possibly be to you then?" "In time, Doctor." The Commander reached over and pressed a button on the control panel. "Bring two cups of mocha and some cream pastries to my office." She released the button and smiled. "My enemy shall be my friend." She blinked twice as she stared at the human with amusement. "For now, Doctor, We shall be friends." The Doctor shrank back into the chair and slumped down.
