A national day of celebration and remembering. Looking at the current developments (racism, political intolerance, shootings, women's rights, poverty - you name it), no beer should be the least thing on the agenda. Sorry having to say this, I was brought up looking up to all things American, but nowadays looking across the Atlantic I am worried.
Still, if there is a beer in your fridge, I'd happily raise a glass to you.
