What a great scene with lots of details and for one time not with a so often shown Spitfire, Bf 109, B-17 or whatever, but with a Brewster F-2 Buffalo, which never got that much attention as the others (even though they did great in Finland against Soviet aggression)...

F2A-3 parked under the trees in Hawaii. After Pearl Harbor a few were stationed there. B-339 export models and the F2A-3 were all overloaded with armor plate, fuel tanks, and larger engines which brought the weight up. The fine maneuverability of the F2A-1 and F2A-2 and climbing ability were lost. The Finns were flying the lighter B-239 export model of the F2A-1 and also had very well trained pilots. Most of the British Empire, Dutch, and even U.S. Marine pilots flying the Buffalo were inexperienced compared to the battle hardened Japanese.
