My first car was a 1952 Buick roadmaster convertible. It looked very much like this 47 model, but even prettier. That straight 8 engine was strong and could pass most anything on the road except a gas station. But back then, gas was only $.25 a gallon.

my first car was a 57 Chevrolet, but I had a 83 Buick. it was a very smooth running car. I gave it to my son. him and his former girlfriend sold it because the AC was not working. I did not have AC in a car until 1969. I drove a 1938 Pontiac with a straight 8 while living in California. it was very strong

Wow...I luuuuv the deep shadow in this shot, they almost make the Buick look like a ghost. But then the detail on the car is exquisite: Great sweeping "neon" lights (reflections of them). You got a lot of light in this dark photo....the feeling that this car is made from light as much as from metal and chrome.
The darkness surrounding it makes it feel like it's in slumber. A real dark green beauty of a shot...I wouldn't mind one of these old jewels in my living room.
