(do you realize it's 3:20 in the morning? I couldn't sleep, but your gallery has always been much better than dreams...) I posted an image a while back, "things from my grandmother's heart" (something like that). But this goes much further. I love the collection. It makes one want to look at everything, and makes one think that, in your years of making these assemblages, you've gathered a whole backlog of things you haven't used yet, or which you've used but knew they needed more exposure. So they piled up in your closet until you just had to let some of them be seen. I love the big pot---a witch's pot?---and pouch, and crystal ball, and mouse, apple, elf, little farmer or monk (who I think needs to go out for a walk), those two mushroom displays that also look like metal/ceramic sculptures, and an hour glass, dice, one whacked out fiery bird (this bird's having a bad hair day and wants out!) and so on. You got a dragon too I think, even a dream catcher---which is perfect. And I love that crazy wall---this display seems to be in an enclave, but the cut in the wall also looks like an illusion. Maybe, if we come back later, new things will appear. (You can see how I get tale ideas from these pieces...) You also have a bottle of something I wouldn't drink if you paid me (bre dust? I can't tell---but the skull thingie tells me this ain't orange juice...) I think you even have some crystals (bottom row). I'd like to think they come out at night and put on a show. Delightful, Barb; and your shadows in the cubby holes are just right, like these have been in storage for a long time. These feel like the kind of things people showed their kids when they were young, and said, "when you get older, you'll understand what these are all for..." Let them make up their own tales...Delightful.

Looks really pretty good dear Barb (I've stopped collecting because there's always a lot to dust off)!

I'm thinking this looks like it should be the cover to an art techniques book. It's really good.
