So, the doctors said Papa could be on O2 for up to a year... but everyone knows puppy medicine is way better than human medicine. I took Papa for tons of walks in the park next to our house, and now at only 5 weeks out of the hospital, the lung doctor told Papa he doesn't need the O2 anymore. So, yep, puppy medicine heals all. But, give human's credit for their strange ability to make treats appear from thin air. Gotta love 'em though, they're so darn helpless without us. So, keep your butt clean, never trust that guy that keeps throwing boxes on the front porch, and keep a spare chew bone hidden behind the couch for emergencies. I deserve an ice cream cup from McDonald's now.

god, bob, it's really good to hear from you. And to hear that you don't have to use O2 for a year! Congratulations---your healing power is strong. I wanted to wait another few weeks before writing to you so as not to intrude or make you feel you have to get back to us...I know healing can be very hard. But it's so nice to see you back, even if intermittently. And you have a story coming---that's great news! You're getting back to normal.
