Great image! Unfortunately, Putin and his cronies don't give a damn what anyone else thinks about them or the atrocities they commit... all they care about is money and power! In the past, the US held such a dominant position in the world economy that the threat of cutting them off could keep them in check, but times have changed and now our sanctions won't stop them.

As an aside, for my ha'penny's worth, lets not blame an entire nation for the acts of deranged despot. Some level headedness and perspective is in order at times like these. Lets remember much of his despicable playbook was learned from less than glorious episodes in recent Western history; he even quotes the same rhetoric that "Dubya" used to justify the invasion and destruction of Iraq.
