(Robie House, by Frank Lloyd Wright...Chicago, 1909)
i've posted this every year because it was one of my first architectural sketches, and it got me started in art... (a small pen sketch, 1970s) ------------------

Frank nailed the furniture to the floor so the Home owners could not mess up his vision by putting a chair out of place. LOVE your sketch!

Well done. Excellent lines and shading. This is always so cool to see.

Frank would be most delighted with this, I think! I know I really like it, Mark! I should have you design our next house! LOL

I've heard a lot of folks say "Draw? You're kidding... I can't draw a straight line!" I have visions of FLW saying, "What? Draw? I can't draw a curved line to save my life!"

Great stuff, Mark!

I love all floors, yes, even all lines. It's a subtle drawing of a very charming structure. Really cool to admire this, Mark. I will show it to Karel because he is, among other things, technical draftsman and designer.
