Bay continues telling Mab the secret story of Cubes and Kings: Olar Murtom, king of the Northern Tribes, gasped in horror! He had come into the Imperial Chapel to pray for world peace, only to find himself under attack by his old friend, Lom Uhrain! "Stop! Lom! Don't kill me!" Olar cried as Lom's strong hands began to grip his throat! "I can't stop myself!" Lom cried, his massive muscles straining to resist. His glowing uniform grew brighter and brighter as he fought against the control of the Ancients Ones, the very beings who had brought him back from the grave! As Lom's powerful fingers closed around Olar's throat, a large furry rat suddenly crawled out of Olar's tunic and chomped violently on Lom's finger! It's large teeth sank into his flesh again and again as Lom screamed in pain and lurched backward! "Thank you, Topaz!" Olar said, astonished. " You saved me!" As Olar patted Topaz the rat on the head, a second rat crawled out from the pocket in his tunic and scrambled up his arm on to Lom's chest! "Tidbit! Be careful!" Olar yelled. Tidbit the rat showed no fear as it was drawn to the energy and bright light of Lom's glowing uniform. He sank his teeth into the uniform's strap that held it up! Lom screamed as sparks and energy exploded around him and gushes of raw energy flew everywhere! Lom felt his whole body shudder and his mind lurched. Tidbit fell to the ground, his tiny rat body smoking with steam from the energy he had absorbed. "Tidbit! Tidbit!" Olar cried, as he gently picked up his fallen furry friend. "I'm free!" Lom screamed as the leotard he was wearing stopped glowing and suddenly transformed into plain fabric. He shook violently for a moment, then suddenly his demeanor changed! Lom put his hands to his forhead and gave Olar a big smile! "My uniform must have been controlling me. It's like it was hooked into my very soul. I'm in control of myself, again! I am so sorry, Olar! Savant Tas was forcing me to attack you." "I am so glad your free, my friend!" Olar said. "But, look! Something strange is happening to Tidbit!" Olar gently set Tibit onto the ground. The furry brown rat began to glow and then... "Lom! look!" Olar screamed! "Tibit is alive! and he's growing larger and larger!" "He's already gigantic!" Lom gasped. "And he's still growing.....
