Description
Over a year ago Sam had a siezure. They told me he wouldnt survive long, he was blind and diabetic, but i refused to give up on him, i gave him the best medical care and medicine, i became his eyes. i would get up six times a night to take him out, i would guide him back inside, he was happy and had a good extra year, i was with him 24 -7
But then this happened and i’m in the hospital, he waited at the door for me to return but i couldn’t, last night he must have thought the worst and gave up, or maybe he thought i went ahead to the bridge without him, he’s waiting there now, i will see my best friend again some day. i got katie still, and shes my other best friend. Sam was with me since he was four weeks old. RIP my friend.

So sorry for the loss of your beloved Sam...hope you find comfort in the many fond memories that you two shared ..
I'm choosing to pretend I didn't read that and the doggy is alive... Oh the feels :(
I'm truly sorry for your loss. You gave Sam an excellent life. It's hard. Peace.
Oh, noooo! this must be truly awful, when your beloved pet dies, while you are in Hospital and couldn't be with him in hi last hours. It really hurt's me to read this. I had to be witness of many of my pets going over the bridge and it was emotionally terrible, but I couldn't let them alone in their last breath and in their last heart beat. So it hurts me to read, that you where there for him 24/7 and now that you had to go to hospital, he died alone... I wish you lot's of strength and comfort.
I am so, so sorry. Lots of happy memories for you to remember with Sam. xx
Poor nice dog !!!
Words fail. My condolences
ditto FurNose and everyone else...I'm terribly sorry, I stopped in my tracks when I saw this: I'm so sorry, Bob. I'm sorry for Sam, and I'm sorry that you couldn't be with him in the end. My deepest condolences, I know that dogs and cats are family, they're siblings and children and even parents (in how they protect us). I'm so sorry you lost such a dear friend and sibling. I wish you much comfort, and I hope you get better soon...much light to Sam and much healing to you. Here's to your 100% healing.
I feel your pain. We lost one of our cats 3 months ago from lymphoma cancer in the throat. My heart pain is still with me after all that time. Yet, we must go on and fond memories will soon replace that pain. You will see Sam again. Unlike us, animals have always been in complete obedience to God's laws. Love never dies, it carries over into eternity from where it started, with Yahweh Elohim, the Lord God.
I am so sorry for your loss! My heart breaks and i am crying.
These times seem to be filled with sadness unending. My deepest condolences to you in the loss of your beautiful friend, Wolf. He's in a far better place now; a place free of disease, war, suffering, pain, and heartache. He will be there to greet you someday. I hope your healing is quick and complete, although I know your heart will take a little longer to mend.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, my friend.
So sorry to hear this and that you couldn’t be with him. Know that you’ll see him again one day.
I'm so sorry for the loss of a friend you obviously loved very much.
I am so sorry
My heart is breaking for you. There is nothing like losing a friend like Sam and nothing that anyone can really say either. But I'm so sorry.
I feel some of you loss but it is unique for each one of us how we survive a shock like this. And, I believe, no matter how prepared you are, when someone you love does finally cross the rainbow bridge, it is still a shock, at least to the heart! And my heart goes out to you, Wolfe. Not being able to be there to comfort your dear friend in the final moments before the crossing. I'm so very sorry for you loss and I am glad you still have someone still there to help you deal with it! Take care my friend! Many the cosmos send you comfort and support. I recently saw a video on youtube about a guy that had a near death experience. He said that while he was over there, he entered a gorgeous area with the most beautiful landscape. And all the animals of the world that pass over go there to wait and play with each other until we can come there to be with them again. Hope that helps.
Sorry for your loss. I´m sure he´s watching you all day from up there.
What a lovely animal. How very sad that you couldn't see him through to his final resting place. I'm still recovering from the loss of our own dog even though we have another puppy now. I feel for you Sir!
