I enjoy driving in areas like this with the horizon so far away.
when I took food for Bodie this morning, some of his hair went flying when I moved his blanket. he must of thought it was a mouse. he started for it until he realized it was not alive. when Eve was still alive, her hair would every where along with Bodie's. I often thought together it might become a puppy when it entangled together

I love photos like this! Such a wonderful feeling of freedom.. We used to travel frequently when I was a kid, and remember many trips with views like this.
That's amazing...what a view...stunning open expanse.. you feel like you could drive forever....quality capture...!!
Me too, I enjoy it. A little flatter, a little more tempting to put the pedal to the metal. There might be a smoky at the bottom so throttle it back cowboy.

I love the atmosphere in this---literally, the air, and how it softens the background, and how it gets bluer and fainter as it goes back. Beautiful shot of a rolling landscape. And for all the rootedness of that road (a long straight line right down the center of your shot), it looks like a vast empty landscape. I hardly see a tree anywhere...real bleak beauty. (And flat clouds too!)
