This is such an awesome beautiful place. I've been there in 2014. Actually we didn't plan to go there and wanted to go relatively direct from Las Vegas to Zion NP, but then we got the message, that due to heavy rains the road was closed, and we had to take a detour through the Valley of Fire - an absolutely lucky coincidence! It would have been a shame, not to visit the Valley of Fire (but we simply didn't know in advance).

It looks a little like those mountains where ancient native americans carved out dwellings in the sides, one after the next. Little cave-dwellings. A beautiful shot of a hole-littered side of a mountain. This place must be amazing in person.
