He seems into "I now present you" mode and she doesn't look happy with the arrangement....might be her muddied hems, might be he's a turd. She might be a little more inclined to accept her fate if he'd turn her round and let her see her new domain. Then again, it's a lot of house to clean or a staff to run....

It has something of the Madame Butterfly to it. Very nicely composed (pardon the pun). Maybe its the remake where instead of committing seppuku, she sues him for all he's worth and he goes to jail...

I like both of the characters and the costumes, Ute. Their expressions seem to me a bit unsure, as though they are trying on roles that they are unfamiliar with. Made an impression on me, for sure. Thank you for sharing your work!

Kauft man da nicht die Katze im Sack; ist doch nicht wie beim Autokauf,erst probefahren,dann kaufen. Die armen Frauen tun mir echt Leid,sie wissen ja nicht was das für ein Type ist. Die beiden Charactere haste sehr gut getroffen,ein wunderbares Image. Erinnert mich ein wenig an die Oper von Bedřich Smetana ; Die gekaufte Braut.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
