Le problème c'est qu'au "bon vieux temps", en parlant du passé, on disait "le bon vieux temps", etc, etc, jusqu'à l'époque des cavernes ! N'empêche que c'est une belle illustration.

Ah, ma chère Ute, tu me gâtes :) "le bon vieux temps" je pourrais avoir l'âge de le dire, mais comme je ne suis pas nostalgique, le bon temps est pour moi une certaine façon de percevoir le présent, avec ce qu'il apporte de mieux et de moins bien dans ce que la vie m'a donné avant. Faire des images est pour moi une machine à voyager dans le temps, dont le carburant est fourni par le présent, celui où je saisis une émotion qui passe. J'ai le bonheur de travailler au contact de jeunes gens, qui par leurs interrogations et leurs projets me font rester jeune, du moins dans ma tête, et de rencontrer par l'esprit dans cette communauté de belles âmes. Je trouve ton image sans âge, à la fois ancrée dans un certain passé par les costumes, mais aussi dans le contemporain des décors qui me rappellent ceux des films du Studio Ghibli que j'adore. Merci encore du fond du coeur.

A beautiful evocation of an older, gentler time (ala your title). It has a gentle softness, to suggest a beautiful dream. And the two women in front are dressed with beautiful flowing gowns and beautiful hats (and matching bags and fans too---and shoes). The gentleman behind is calmly looking-on, and you have a carriage back there, and a beautiful hilly street, with that very European set of facades (ie, built-up at different angles). And bright facades in back, with a beautiful sky. (Ie, the light back there draws us into the image.) Beautifully done, with gentle pastel hues and mist. Perfect for your title.
