Description

I don't usually do full on FANTASY pinup. Usually when I'm doing fantasy I'm either doing a character portrait or an illustration or a book cover. Decided to make a bit of an exception here. Had an image in my head, and went with it. I guess pinups are my fall back when I'm in a creative slump, lol. I have to say I was inspired by a miniature I've seen floating around the internet. I'm actually hoping to track down one for my collection eventually, but for now I'll just let it inspire this. A few details. The pose is by Synful Mindz. Most of the NSFW poses I've purchased I picked up for mostly SFW-type art. Or because it was on sale. This is a couples pose from a set of lesbian poses, repurposed quite well I think. One thing I like about these poses is that they general don't break the model, making them easy to repose. I did have this really elaborate steampunk image I was working on most of the day the other day, off and on. Using the same River environment. I wrestled with it for hours to make it work. I have to say I'm not a fan of the Daz Steampunk Horse. The saddle has no bones in order to repose the stirrups. I don't know why I keep expecting them to do better. Here we have Centaur 8.1, and it's STILL using the Daz Horse 2 base model. Anyway, you don't get to see that image because Daz Studio crashed and after working on it ALL day, I had forgotten to save the file. Then again, I had reason to be distracted. And I haven't been sleeping well. Today, Mom is having surgery again, this time to have a pacemaker installed. She supposedly will be home tomorrow, but I'm uneasy to have her home so soon after surgery. I had her home Friday. She was home for three hours before I had to call an ambulance again. She'd had a tiny heart attack. It's very stressful. She also wants to take a 3 hour drive to see her sister this week (who is in her final days) and I have to be the bad guy that says NO. So. Distractions. I did finish the novel I was writing, so I've got that done. I have been making SOME art, so that's good. Just doing what I can to hang in there until a new normal is established. Thanks for thoughts and concerned. I promise I'll check out some galleries again soon. I've been too brain dead to comment much.

Sorry to hear of your mother - been there.

Been there with the pinups too. I have several scenes underway and can't raise steam including a steampunk which will likely end up a gothic.

Your girl has a pretty substantial weapon there. No room for a scabbard, which might make portage tricky unless she can risk scratching her booty...:)

I'm with you on the 'naughty' poses. When I purchase or create a new character I run him/her through their paces using naughties to test the bones. They do hold up pretty well, though the textures in the nether regions can become distorted - never likely to be an issue for me.

Keep at it when you can and stay strong. Bit of a trope but it fits.

Considering I've purchased just about every scabbard asset that's been produced, it does feel odd to pretend as if toting that big thing around wouldn't be a problem. Of course, could be she had it slung on her back and she left it on shore... There's some room to figure it out.

But yeah. When for appealing. I think. The background (behind the rendered environment) is a picture of an Oregon mountainside. That was fun to add.

The folks making dirty pose sets seem to put a lot more effort into not breaking joints, which I can appreciate.
