As promised.... Here's Page 30 of Chapter 6. We have some new talent in the Organization! We are growing and always welcome new recruits - especially when they're as clever and loyal as this young lady.

It's been pretty insane here with a lot of stuff going on with this house. There's nothing really massive (other than needing a fresh paint job - which will happen next spring), just a lot of those annoying "little" things. You know... the "little" things that want BIG $$$$ to get taken care of. Like last week.. Our faithful old Kenmore washing machine finally bit the dust after well over 20 years' service. Sooo... Off to Lowes for a new one. (We both HATE laundromats!) It's just one flippin' thing after another... sigh...
We may be looking into putting a bunch of stuff into storage (more $$$), and trying to find a reasonable place to rent for a while (still more $$$$) so we can sell this place, and use the profits as a down payment on a new place.
And now - to make things even more fun - there's a new covid variant. I want off this planet! Scotty! Where are you, mate! Beam us up!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this page, and I'll be getting the next page in progress. I'm still doing some writing and re-writing on more fun stuff for the Girls to entertain you with. I love that line of girls, all just standing there, but each one with such an individual and interesting pose!

well Rod, I'm way behind; and though I can't catch up with everything yet, I wanted to comment on your newest TNA installment, so here I am. (I haven't been sick this long in years! I've just been done in...I shouldn't have gotten the booster when I did, but I wanted to get it over with.)
That top shot is a biggie...I love the broad view and the sweep of all those veticals---the triangular shape of the ship-top parallels the patterns of the masts on the right. And you gave us water in front, with reflections; as well as seeing it all through a mesh fence. And those blue coastal huts, and so on: a terrific, complex opening 'shot'. The second frame is equally engaging---love all the lines and light vs dark hues, and the reflections, etc. These are two terrific 'entry' images. Then, the 3 women are placed to emphasize the flow of the space; and of course you have your usual mastery of pose, classiness, costume, light, etc. They're all very different from each other, but they're clearly a team. A very smart frame. (I keep wanting to call them "shots". I mean that's what they are, in a way.)
The next frame is really a group frame---and you get such different expressions in the women in blue. Every kind of clapping, and even looking like they're taking a picture. Then, the women in the screens above add more rhythm. Annette is in black, so stands out. Really effective frame. (Even the chair wheels are in sync with all the women's feet; w/ a great array of shoes too.) In 4, you bring everyone close, surrounding Annette, a really smart looking bunch. (The blue outfits are really striking). And the inset with Annette and the badge---with your note about the lack of "TNA" on the badges (for protection, I assume?): This moves from the large shot (3) through to the closer group, to the closeup on Annette. A flowing sequence.
Then you end in a burst of light---I assume we're now facing the right-side wall (which is that bright aqua green hue). It's an after-the ceremony, random gathering of everyone, also very true to life. (Those are some super fitting outfits! These women must work out--a classy bunch!) And your note about the Joisey accent...hey, add a few "aowwwww!"s and "fuggeddabbouddit"s, and you got yerself hardcore jersey s__t here, dude! (Tony Soprano would approve.) This is a terrific page: You manage these packed scenes with real ease, they're all so natural and relaxed. Also, it's an installment without conflict, which is a nice rest for your audience as you prepare for more drama in the future. (And considering the life and death drama of what came before.) Beautifully done as always, with fine, fine visual work. And Rod (in response to one of your replies in my dedi): You take 2d place to no one, friend. I'm talkin' no one. First rate job on this, and I wish you a fine week ahead. I'll be back for more soon...
