sorry I'm late to this, I couldn't comment for a few days...but I saw your upload when it went up, and loved it, a big full portrait of a dragon's head, with dramatic light and shade, that intense light behind him (it actually looks like the flare of a photograph blurred via macro settings, or a bryce abstract passage), smoke coming out of its nostrils, and hair on its chin, big scary teeth, a bit of flare on his teeth (like they're made of gold), and glowing eyes with more flare. I really like how he emerges out of trees or bushes, and is ready to attack whatever/whoever gets in his way. (I love the idea that he's after a sweet potato, lol! With turkey and stuffing?) (can you imagine t.giving with 20 dragons? "Yeah, could you talk a little softer, my hair just burned off...") Love your lighting, and how it reveals a little of his 'scales'. And if one looks closely they cn see the webbing in his ears. I don't know the film btw, or what a 'drake' is (I know it in relation to ducks, but I'm prettttttty sure this isn't a duck), so if there's a reference here, I missed it unfortunately. But the visual is wonderfully intrusive and filled with warning. A beautiful creature nevertheless...and your signature is in the light, with that line beneath it. (I always look for your signature. Never miss it, it's an integral part of your art.) Love the image and the dramatic lighting. (My upload is still coming btw...I just got waylaid by day to day stuff. Oh---and I copied this from one of your comments to someone---I love this phrase: "It's crazy how fast time is flying when life isn't even fun." Yessss! I gotta remember that one!)
