Thanks for the comments.

The lab in this case is not ship based but ground based (not that you could tell that from this render) and is part of the colony collection of buildings produced by Coflek-gnorg of which there are many. The reason the lab may look high is because the female character that features in my renders, called Caoimhe, is adjusted to represent a figure only five foot tall. The male, Turlough, is a little taller at around five foot ten.

This all stems from a story I have bouncing around in my head where I wanted the main character to be female and of petite build if not for any other reason than it broke with convention.

Thank you for taking the time to comment, I have to admit I was rather pleased with the way the interaction worked out. It was what I wanted when I started out but experience tells me that is no guide to success.
