Description

Several years ago, my sister, Susan Giacona, was involved in a beautiful video for the Foundation of The Battleship Texas. She wrote the song "Walkin' Away from Heaven" and starred in the video. Watching this has always touched my heart in so many ways. Susan plays a beautiful spirit of this ship telling us about the men who left their family to fight for our country. She, also, plays one of the wives. My artwork of such a man inspired by minute 1:27 in the video. The background was contributed by my brother-in-law, Monty Montgomery.
