It's been so long that I forgot where the upload button for the Renderosity gallery was at! Here's my first artwork of 2021. Yes, I know it's July but life has been weird this year and I've been plagued by anxiety attacks every time I went near Poser. I finally, just yesterday, managed to overcome them after months of trying. I just hope I'm able to continue this... Now for a bit about this new artwork... My very first artwork of 2021 and it is so long overdue! Granted, it’s a redux of an artwork of mine from 2019 but still, it’s a new artwork and my first of 2021! I’ll take what little triumphs I can get at this point. Anyway…Can you tell I’m more than ready for summer to be over with? I mostly kept the arrangement of the props in this still life the same since the 2019 version with only a few slight alterations here and there. The main reason for this redux was to render it in Superfly instead of Firefly so I had to redo each material on every prop. I also had to create a new light setup. The hardest part was getting the cracked lime green ceramic of the cup and the volumetric apple cider in it to look right. That took the better part of two or three hours for just that damn cup of cider. I am, however, rather proud of myself for adapting a dust shader for adding a light dusting of dust and dirt onto an object for my cinnamon shaders. It added more dimension to my cinnamon props! Now to get to work on my next artwork of 2021…
