Impressive artwork.
I saw a bird catch a cicada in mid air during one of our swarms, quite a few years ago. Cicadas, at least the ones of the swarming sort are very clumsy fliers. Birds love them. People have reported seeing birds so fat from their cicada feast, they have trouble taking off.
