This is a very pretty flower.
Gorgeous colours Richard!
Ratibida columnifera, commonly known as upright prairie coneflower or Mexican hat, is a perennial species of flowering plant in the Ratibida (prairie coneflower) genus and daisy family, Asteraceae. It is native to much of North America and inhabits prairies, plains, roadsides, and disturbed areas from southern Canada through most of the United States to northern Mexico. ()
I had never seen this flower, it is true that the shape gives the idea of its name of Mexican hat. Nice POV.
Very beautiful 😍 !

Superb capture, unique flower !
A fascinating little flower and a great shot of it!
Wonderful flower, superb colours.
Excellent
Another nice capture of these beauties (I never saw such ones before) you made here!
For all the romance associated with flowers, they really are primal little beasts! Great light on this: The yellow rims of the petals are like lights: They're lit up. And those deep crimson-red petals really contrast beautifully. The stamen is 100% primal flower-stuff. Primal beauty, Richard. You caught it in all its raw other-worldly presence.
a very beautiful closeup
