Description
Inspired by a piece of art that was in turn inspired by the Phantom of the Opera, this is the culmination of months of practicing new skills.
It was a little anti-climatic once I got the renders done. Took moments to put it all together. : )
Shadow parted ways with Azraille years before, gifting her a prized sword. Once comrades and lovers, now estranged. He gazes into the past, and at the life that could have been.

Lovely. It's always that way when things work right - prepare, prepare, and then boom - it's over. The results here speak for themselves - interesting and immersive, wanting the viewer to know more of the story, which is the purpose of a single scene.
When you really master a skill, and then things atsrt to feel "too easy." That's a weird sensation, isn't it? Like, i accomplished what I set out to do. But it felt "too easy."
Never mind all the learning I've done this year.
We all have those moments from time to time (I've had my share lately), and you have certainly captured the mood here, my friend. Well done!

Yep. Daz studio. There's a couple layers blended together in GIMP, as well as a couple other tweaks. Mostly raw, though.
