Vaispora contained her laughter for her friend's plight, thankful that she'd be unable to see her grin from where she was perched.

I have a weakness for mushroom people. And now I have yet another 8.1 character, when I planned on refraining for as long as possible.
Hopefully they sort out whatever it is that keeps the normal Genesis 8 expressions from working, because my pool is rather limited otherwise. I've slowly built up quite the collection of expressions over the years. Yes, I know they have a new facial rig, but I'm hoping, at the least, somebody creates some sort of conversion script.
Anyway, just a bit of fun with the new model. I don't THINK this counts as nude... I mean, she isn't wearing clothes, but it really doesn't seem as if she needs any.
I think just to be safe I might dress her up before I post a version to Instagram.

So you can't use G8 expressions on G8.1? How ridiculous. Why can't these developers figure out if you're going to update something, make it an improvement, not a frustration... Not using DS at the moment, but hope to get it going soon. At least I THINK I hope to... 🤔
It's weird, because all the expression dials show up when you enter the posing tab for 8.1. I know they added some bones to the face rig, but there's also an option not to use them. So... shrugs Maybe they'll add it in later.

A fine job with a surreal feel to it. I am with you ... that case that expressiosn do not carry forward is a situation that needs a 'open source (read that as FREE) offering from DAZ. Now, will they do it, that is another story. But I can go years on G8 on the assets I have amassed. Likewise, anyone jumping in on G8.1 might be asking DAZ ...'why the long face."
Honestly, I would have rather they just kept working on it and eventually released Genesis 9 instead. There's a ton of things I think they could of done instead of releasing 8.1. But, I guess TPTB thought it lucrative.
Then again, there's still a large number of people that haven't migrated from Genesis 3, soooooooo.... I think maybe Daz just doesn't pay attention.
