Some things never die such as traditions passed on from one generation to the next. Her mom had taught her the old ways of the family, passed down from generation to generation all the way back to Salem, Massachusetts. Her mom had passed a few years ago and the house was her own now. But her mom really never went far. The old dollhouse upstairs lights up from time to time and if you listen real close you could all but hear a sweet hum coming from it moving from room to room in the dollhouse. Yep, her mother is still home, just residing in a new home now. Nevertheless, she continues the family tradition her mother taught her and sneaks up to the attic when she can. Reading over the old spell books and playing with herbs while the familiar sweet humming keeps her company. Thanks for looking at my work! - Shannon
