normally I get to your new pieces a lot sooner, but I haven't been able to type a whole lot until the last few days. Full size, this has really beautiful qualities. I love the softness on the petals, a very gentle feel...and, equally, the arc you capture, as if it were protecting the blooms as they arch over Ute and Rene. (Almost like a wedding canopy.) You have a bold frontal leaf---top left---whose bokeh gives this a very visceral 3 dimensionality. And the background is perfectly abstract---a split of dark and lighter grays, perfect for the busy 'bells' of all those heart-shaped blooms. The greens are as vivid as the pinks too...A bold and delicate piece, and lovely for Ute and Rene. Happy Anniversary Ute and Rene! And many, many more! Beautiful delicate work, Barb.
