I'm preparing to attend my first Steampunk Convention in Littleton, Colorado. I bought this very inexpensive lantern from a popular discount tool store.
I will explain how I built it in the next post.

I love these lanterns! I have 3 in the closet right now - gonna turn the 2 smaller ones into "demo charges" a la the Rebel Commando props on Endor from Return of the Jedi.
That would be cool looking!
