Description

Well, I normally don't flood the Galleries that way, but again I came across a phantastic Photo modeled Freebie on Sketchfab.com. This Boat wreck is so amazing (and darn high Res - be warned), that I made a whole bunch of Renders, and I simply couldn't decide which one to post, so I decided to do an exception and post the (IMO) three best of them. Sorry for flooding the Gallery... The Boat wreck model (sketchfab.com/3d-models/small-wreck-boat-072d9c2e811049528c74a6bf0fe4176c) Is made by "Lionel" via photo modelling where 191 photos where taken from different angles and then transformed into a textured 3D-Model by a software. Lionel was so kind to offer his awesome model free to download (Thanks a lot!!!). To perfection it a little more and to give it even more depth, I made a Bumpmap and a Normalmap, so the old washed out wood get's even more detailed I think I somehow got the hang on that photo modeled objects (Shaaramuse3D does similar stuff) and most probably will use them more and more for a realistic environment for my scenes, simply because they look so realistic. Oh, yeah, and I'm still in summer mood, that's why the subject still is sand, beach and a nice Lady. ;-) Patty, by the way as well is another one of my favorite and more often used characters and I fell in love with her beautiful face right away! Credits: "Small Wreck Boat" from Lionel @ sketchfab.com "Lori Hair for Genesis 3 and 8 Female(s)" by Lady Littlefox @ DAZ3D "Navy Cap" by Mike Rowley @ Sketchfab.com "UltraHD IRAY HDRI With DOF - Sunny Beaches Pack 1" by Bob Callawah and Cake One @ DAZ3D As always pure IRAY-Render without post work (except for the Logo) Opening the full image and zooming in is very recommended (since the change form my old i7 to a new i9, most of my renders are around 5000 to 6000 Pixel wide) ;-) Thank you so much for the peek and all your lovely comments on my past works - it means much to me!

The way you show us this girl doing what every people could do with such a boat is very interesting.

Would you like some help there, my dear? 😁 This really looks amazing! It could easily pass as an actual photo.

You blended the model into the photo so well that it is seamless. Great pose and lighting as well.

Just to put it right: This is not a photo, but a 3D-Model (compiled and generated out of 191 Photos - see the link to Sketchfab, where I got it above in my description) and a HDRI-Imgae for the lighting. So no great magic behind it all, in Fact pretty simple, but I agree, never the less impressive (I mean the Photo modelled Ship wreck) 😉
