Description
The girls are very lucky to have the beach to run in but they only go there first thing in the morning at 7am. They are usually off by 8.45.
We do not go in the daytime as it is most probably full of people & their dogs. I cannot do with them shouting "She, he is ok, only wants to play"
I do not trust other peoples dogs, (I appreciate not all owners don't have control) I get so mad when they come over to the girls, with owners shouting them & they taking no notice.
If I see a dog coming, I put the girls on the lead & walk past.
Poor Carla 'B' was always getting picked on from other peoples dogs.
So that is why the beach is empty, we go early.

Truly looks like she's covered with sand--do you hose the girls down when you get home? As for other dogs, you are wise to try to avoid them--a much nicer experience for you and the girls when you can have the beach to yourselves, especially now with Covid.
I was going to comment on how empty the beach appeared, but after reading the description, I now understand why. Great picture, Barb.

I can't blame you. I used to take Sam to the public dog park, until he caught something from another dog. He never fully healed.
Good for you, staying away! So many unfortunate dogs who visit the beach with a human who treats him/her as a status symbol and not a family companion!
