Or 'Don't look now - but - they are behind us'
We always thought that because the noises came from under the bed that the Monsters were living under there, then Amy saw them bursting out from the closet - this is the moment she tried to alert me to the danger we were in.
NB: Amy and Harold were living in my bedside cabinet at the time, they kept me company during the deep nights and helped keep my things tidy(ish) - they currently reside in my writing desk along with a few dozen other house gnomes who have adopted us over the years.
