This is purely spontaneous and dedicated to one of the greatest Female soul artists of all time and former Wife of my namesake, Stevie Wonder! Syreeta could "Get Up There" Literally! Unlike watching an edition of America's/Britain's Got Talent and wondering if she will be able to reach those important higher notes without any great effort or instead, reverting to an anti-climax falsetto! I still listen in awe to her fine talent as a songstress, even though she died in 2004, never reaching her 60th Birthday! What saddens me is that during her involvement with Stevie and her first cut with Motown, their marriage was going through a rough patch and Syreeta used many of the words of the songs to try to win Stevie back. Sadly, this never happened and by the time Motown released Stevie Wonder presents Syreeta, some two years later, they were already divorced! Stay safe!
