Description
And good morning to you, one and all. I recently watched, for the first time, the classic Minnelli film "Lust for Life." Which leads to me sharing this piece of artwork with you. Indeed, it is hard for me to look at a sunflower without thinking of Vincent Van Gogh but I did not try to emulate his painting style with my postwork. I really don't think it's possible to even do justice to his impasto brushwork with straightforward photography, either.
Post-processing in Fotosketcher, with compositing and further processing in GIMP. The flowers are "Sunflower Assortment" by Merlin.
Enjoy!
