Charming character, beautiful dress, pose and pastel tints - a splendid creation!
Ah ! It is always a pleasure to see a new artwork from you ! This one is really fresh ! It sheers my mood up ! Great artwork, as always !
Gorgeous work. Now I have this urge to go listen to Stairway to Heaven.
Lovely! Fingers crossed her playing will improve the weather!!
In the upper midwest (Chicago is right at the beginning of that), May is the 1st month of spring, since it's wintry most of the time before that. You captured that new, welcome spirit here. The goddess is rendered in very soft tones, with a pinkish glow: She is perfect for newly-burst spring. And the yellows and bright greens behind her amplify the sun-drenched newness of May. The trees seem painted on in big flowing strokes, and the whole image feels like a teeming musical celebration. (The idea of April flowers bringing May flowers is alive here---the expression is very old, and may even trace back to the 1300s, in Canterbury Tales (("april with his showers sweet..." bringing flowers in its wake...)) A painterly, illumined celebration of the goddess of May (Maia, I presume), softened and caressed by soft hues and a tender sense of joyous rebirth.
very magical fae and a superb pose
A very sweet looking piper! She looks great playing the pipe! Most delightful viewing! Many fine kudos from me!
I can't tell if this is 3d art or manual art. It is breathtaking!!! It really looks like water color art. You are very talented, my friend!!!
A weightlessness of being. Soft and partly there, and partly not-there. What a lovely welcome to May.
