“We’ve got a following sea, we’re going to broach!” shouted Luca. “We’re not going to broach, I’m just going to keep climbing until it flattens,” Jack shouted back. Tan’s knuckles were white as he held on to the safety rail. “Can you even see out the windshield?” “I can see,” said Jack. “Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing.” “I think he’s going to throw up,” said Luca. “I’m fine,” replied Tan, swallowing hard to keep from throwing up. “How did you learn to sail?” “I told you, Aeden is a water world,” said Jack. “You never told me that,” said Tan. “Hmm… I thought I did. Aeden is mostly an ocean. We have three small continents, but they’re really just big islands. Everyone lives on islands, and everyone knows how to sail. Heck, I’ve raced in the Baestar Cup twice.” Luca flipped around on the bench seat. “You were in the Baestar Cup? Did you get shot?” Jack grinned. “Yep, the Pirate Galleon got me the first day. I took a cannonball to the bow.” Tan turned his head in confusion. “Huh? You have pirates and shoot at each other in a yacht race?” Jack nodded. “Of course, how else would we know who is winning?” “Why are pirates…” Tan put a hand over his mouth. “…never mind, I don’t want to know.” Jack and Luca watched as Tan hurried below deck. The yacht hit a steep wave and rose up at a precarious angle. Luca threw his hands in the air and shouted 'Weeeeeeeee' as the boat slid down the other side of the wave. The sound of retching could be heard from below deck.
