Description
Featuring brain1969's Cybernoid, as well as his "just4render - the floor" and TDT Vasilisa from Deva3d.
I decided to play with the Bloom settings that I finally found, lol. I wanted to use them for my lightsaber posts the other day. Maybe they need a revisit now... though before I do, i want to figure out ground fog to really sell the atmosphere. For The Floor, I removed a side to get the camera angle I wanted. Turned off the HDRI completely and placed two spotlights. I also added an emmisive to the hoses on the bike to add that touch of neo-punk to it.
Pose was 100% done by hand. I got lucky with the expression. She has a wide mouth, so a lot of presets don't look right on her. (Just like Rochelle with her big beautiful lips) I keep hoping I'll find some advanced mouth control/lip control one of these days to further customize expressions. On some characters I just have to go subtle as the face warps unattractively.
I haven't dug into learning how to create opacity maps yet. Got too caught up in other stuff, so I'll be on it double-time next week to update the comic. I planned one-two weeks of downtime, so it isn't a HUGE deal.
I'm also looking to take a crash course in Blender to rough out some special items for the comic. Nothing fancy, just has to hold up once I've applied the filters. I'll share a post in the next day or so as a teaser. I didn't make the gear in it, but it will tease WHY I need special gear... (It also proved to me that using the techniques I use to get a page ready, I really can include any generation of models in a scene.
Got my second Moderna shot yesterday. It hit me pretty hard today. Been rocking a 100 degree fever all day (with Tylenol on board) It's also not playing well with my fibromyalgia, so it's been a FUN day, lol. But, so long as it's cleared up by Sunday, I should be good to go. There is a little risk I fall into that category of people that will have a stronger reaction.
And now they're talking boosters, so... Honestly, I get sicker when i get flu/pneumonia vaccines, so I'm a little unsure of how I feel about yearly boosters for COVID. I guess time will tell.

Thanks! I realized today that though the suit doesn't quite feel "cyber" enough, it does provide a nice blank slate to work from, as part of a larger concept.

Thanks! I agree, it's just a bit of a Terminator vibe. I was worried it wouldn't show up at all, but once bloom was applied, well, you can see for yourself! Makes me think of the song "Electric Eye!"

A cool effect. I once had it turned on by mistake. It took me forever to figure out what the render looked strange but very cool also. But for a Cowboy scene, it couldn't stay.
