Makes you wonder how many of us are going to come out of this with addictions.
Certainly social media addiction. Doomscrolling and habitual Twitter use are habits that are hard to break, and possibly just as psychologically and spiritually harmful as physical substance abuse. Alcohol sales definitely increased in the USA and the UK during the pandemic. It's going to be interesting to see how adults redevelop their social skills once they are required to interact face to face again.

Wow, wonderful and feeling induing work. And yes...a side of this Pandemic that many have experience. A place where altered state reality becomes an unfortunate choice.
You get it, my friend. Problem drinking became normative for many people over the past year. If they ever have to return to the office poat-vaccine, will they be able to hack it without a liquor cart and a lunchtime martini?
