Description
This render is courtesy of other artists, especially Brain1969 and chasfh, who provided the clothes and scenery. Medusa is a very heavy figure for my computer, so I had to render in layers and glue everything together in Photoshop, and chasfh's fun Oversized shirt had a hard time figuring out that the snake tail was a collision object, because I did not set a dforce node on it :D I knew I'd be doing postwork and it was faster to just render the shirt twice and comp them together. I suspect Medusa will be wearing the shirt more though, and next time I will set the node for her. The shirt says "Do I look Like I Care" and features Mr. Jingles, a most handsome cat.
I also need to thank donnena and daggerwilldo for being willing to make (and laugh at) silly renders. <3
This set of Brain1969's, comes with the most gorgeous hdri files--it's worth the price of the set just for the hdri!

Yep - most familiar with the "render - comp" process... LOL I very rarely consider a render complete without at least a quick visit to the magical world of Photoshop.
My settings tend to result in dark renders, so I have to check my work in Photoshop anyway :D And everything has to be layered so the poor computer doesn't fall over! And thank you as always!
Having wrestled medusa a few times, and only showing two or three renders of the results... I feel ya. That recent pose set they produced was a god-send. I'm planning on spending some time with her, and maybe a little less maneuvering that tail.
This is lovely work. Truly. I'm always a sucker for Medusa and Nagas and she is beautiful here. Well done! I especially love the sunglasses. I imagine she's got some boy bringing her fresh drinks, and really. Got to protect those pretty peepers from the harsh sun!
ooo a pose set! That would indeed be a wonder, I will have to go look. It's such a great character, I keep thinking of other things..how would you drive? Can she swim? would the snakes hate it? Honestly I have more freestuff than store stuff :D I admit I do love and use backgrounds so I make them and stuff them in my store, even though most normal people have no use for them...the panel prop is useful-- but the way I set the textures is annoying, and I need to update that and add more options. But thanks so much for taking a look!
