Description
Here we are at last! The first render for Chasfh's upcoming Sisters of Chaos set!
Now, I know. The set isn't super visible in this set. But this time around, I'll be working through a fight sequence. It's good practice, but I think I'll regret adding the Dinokonda to the scene before I'm done. (Unless I can find a pose set for it.)
Also on display is Zoro_D's latest freebie, the Candy Braids hair set. It looks really good, doesn't it?
Poses are pretty tame, but still I'm happy to report there were no issues with the dforce simulation. As the battle proceeds, I'm sure the set will be put more to the test. Also, note that the lady in the back is the recent Nehana for Genesis 8.1 - confirming that it loads up great on Daz's latest generation.
In the foreground, we have Meadow, who is showing off the Bronze Scale set from Deacon215.
There will likely be a fourth human figure added in the next one. I kinda ran out of energy, so she didn't make an appearance here. Gotta give our hero a reason to be facing such overwhelming odds, right?
Now, I must admit that I goofed and forgot to draw the bow back. Like I said. Ran out of energy! Basically been dealing with a pretty bad fibromyalgia flare-up, which is why I haven't been as active.
From what I can see so far, it seems Chasfh has learned from the lingerie set and is pushing their dforce skills to new heights. Keep up work this good, and we'll start to feel spoiled! I'm especially liking how well the dress drapes.
Now, what happens next? I guess you'll just have to wait an find out!
Despite crashing my system twice putting this together, and working with some severe brain fog, the scene itself only took 50 minutes to fully render. Not too shabby, considering there's two Genesis 8 figures, one Genesis 8.1, and all those individually models bronze scales!.I did cheat a little and use the sun-sky dome. I may re-run it in the morning with the corrected bow. For now, I'm pooped and I still got a little bit of writing to do before I try and sleep!

Looking good! I have indeed learnt a lot about the whole dForce setup, and just how far you can push it. It's a fine balance between model resolution and cloth weights, bends and folds, etc. and lots of tweaking to get it just so!

Indeed! It's a good set, with lots of possibilities. I also like the interchangeability of the pieces. Starting on the next position now, and wishing I hadn't started Aisha off in a guard pose!

Thanks! I got part two rendering up now! I figure three or four panels, then something simpler to show off the outfit better. But hey, what better way to showcase something like this than to actually use it?

Thanks! I'm glad you find it enjoyable. Almost has a fantasy cover feel - except the hero's spine would be twisted grotesquely. (Seriously, I wonder how many of the old fantasy artists bothered to look at a skeleton!) Except, of course, Frazetta. That dude is lit.
